Heat Walks Against Me

"Ice age comin',Ice age comin',Throw 'em in the fire, Throw 'en in the fire, Throw 'em on, We're not scare-mongering, This is really happening, happening, We're not scare-mongering, This is really happening, happening, Mobiles squirking, Mobiles chirping, Take the money and run"

My apologies...

The lack of posting on my blog in the last month has been the result of my returning home for the Christmas holidays. At home I had far more important things to do such as watch TV... Now I am back in Bangor I shall strive to keep you all up to date with my life and thought patterns.

Whilst at home I did not savour the moment to pause my ever-moving, somewhat disturbing 'thought-life'. Instead I came to consider and debate (with myself) a number of trivial issues. Here are my results:

Chris Standring is a marvelous musician: I am indebted to Si for the chance to hear and enjoy this brilliant funky modern jazz guitarist. I thoughrily recommend him.

British television is a joke: This was not merely a sudden realisation over the holidays, I've known it for a while. The morale and quality standards of TV is shocking in this country. And I'm well aware of the irony of my above comment :-)

The true value of good friends: I left them in Bangor.

The true value of a good church: ditto.

Le Parkour is a wonderful sport: Having been made aware of the finer points of PK through Jump Britain I have literally jumped at the chance to have a go myself. It's free and you can do it anywhere. Such fun.

I'd rather not have to work for money: I suppose that's the same for everyone.

The prospect of exams is just as annoying every single time.

The concept of New Year is overrated and ultimately a let down: especially if your family is not invited to the party.

that's about it really. Not very inspiring, intellectual or informative but that's me.

In a way I enjoyed the holidays. It was good to see my family, especially on Christmas and boxing day. But I'm mighty glad to be back with the people, places and activities I most enjoy in life*.

*with the exception of my family, sort of Becky, Old trafford Cricket ground, the seatee, camp, Barcelona, the tour de France and the Cloud)
